MercyCare Insurance Company was established in 1994.  Our provider network serves nearly 400 southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois employers.  We are part of the fully integrated Mercy Health System and have over 300 physicians and 7 hospitals in our network service area.  In addition, we are also associated with two national provider networks for those employers having employees outside our service territory.

Employers needing affordable healthcare can get a quote by contacting our Sales & Marketing Department for Agent information in your area.  MercyCare is currently offering the following product lines for purchase by employer groups of 2 or more full time employees:

MercyCare HMO

This product provides quality medical care with an open access network.  Each member of the MercyCare HMO has the freedom to utilize any of our plan providers and facilities without a referral.  The network currently consists of over 300 Mercy Health System physicians and practitioners, as well as, 180 various contracted providers.  Our network represents over 150 facilities in south central Wisconsin and northeastern Illinois.

MercyCare Mercy Plus

Mercy Plus provides choice.  This consumer driven product provides each member with the abitlity to choose their out-of-pocket expenses based the provider they choose to obtain services from.  Mercy Plus allows the member to determine if what they pay is more, or less, important than what provider they have chosen to see.  With three levels of coverage and an extensive Provider network to choose from, Mercy Plus is sure to provide the needed medical coverages for you and your employees.

 

MercyCare Mercy Plus is designed to encourage members to choose Mercy Health System providers.  In doing so, this product reduces the out-of-pocket expenses for the member and the overall cost to the employer.

Prescription Drug Plans

MercyCare is proud to offer two types of prescription drug plans:

• Two tier plan - $10/$20

• Three tier plans - $7/20%/40% - $10/20%/50% - $20/$40/$60

To determine which MercyCare plans are available in your area*, will depend on where your business is domiciled**. MercyCare has created many plans for those employers and businesses with employees in both Wisconsin and Illinois.
