MercyCare Health Plans is committed to the Health Insurace Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) and electronic transactions.
MercyCare Health Plans File Transmission:
MercyCare Health Plans will retrieve and depost transmission files on your secure server or via your secure web site. Please contact the EDI Department at 1-800-752-3431 to set up a testing plan with MercyCare.
837 Healthcare Claim:
MercyCare Health Plans is pleased to accept the HIPAA compliant 837 claim files through our clearinghouse, netwerkes.com. Providers who wish to send claims directly to netwerkes.com, can sign up at their website www.netwerkes.com.
Data submitted must comply with the MercyCare Health Plans 837 Companion Guide.
