MercyCare Health Plans would like to announce that the Mercy Health System - consisting of 3 hospitals, 285 employed physicians and their offices, the homeless center, our wholly owned insurance company and all other 64 facilities - are recieving the 2007  Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.

MercyCare Health Plans and UW Hospital & Clinics and UW Medical Foundation in Madison, WI have entered into an Exclusive Referral Provider Agreement that is effective July 1, 2007.

What does this mean for MercyCare's membership? 

Simply that UW Health will be the primary referral provider for all services approved to seek care outside of that member's designated network.
